I received my copy today (quicker than expected considering it was shipped from a war zone) and gave it a careful wet wash - the labels absorbed some moisture but dried smooth and undamaged. It sounds better than expected for a lathe cut, and I'm happy to support Oleksiy's endeavors. What surface noise there is reminds me of music's essential nature, that of it being a physical phenomenon in which we interact with the music, vibrations from his piano become vibrations in my ears: a connection.
